Cross-Cultural Success Seminar is designed to improve your communication skills and awareness when working with non-English-speaking clients and staff.

You will learn:

• Efficient and effective ways to market your products or services to non-English speaking (NES) clients
• The business etiquette and cultural taboos of NES clients or team members
• The facts and figures about NES communities in Australia, in particular Asian communities
• The barriers to and drivers of communication for NES cultures
• How to communicate with NES colleagues

Presenter: Jessie Wong is an accomplished trainer and an award winning marketer. She has developed and conducted cross-cultural training for Commonwealth, state and local governments and also multinational private companies.

Wong has spoken on cross-cultural issues at several conferences, including the 2005 Australian Marketing Institute Government Marketing Conference. She has also been interviewed by B&T Magazine, Australia’s Independent Media and Korean Community Magazine on cultural issues. 

Wong has a Bachelor Degree in Liberal Arts and a Master’s degree in Asian Studies.
